The BWKU follows a traditional Wdao-Ryu syllabus featuring the 3 aspects of Karate, namely kihon, kata and kumite.

The BWKU has maintained the principle taeching of Wado-Ryu, namely 'minimum movement for maximun effect', and have kept all aspect of Wado-Ryu such a Kihon Kumite. 

In the last couple of years our syllabus has been expanded by Sensei Andrew Genery with the introduction of 8 Partner Works called JI YU KUMITE WAZA. Most recently we have seen the introduction of the kata TAI SHIN.
